When: March 28th 2015. Doors open at 9am, sign-in starts at 9:30am and first game begins promptly at 10am.
Cost: $10 Entry.
Prizes: Payout of store credit to First, Second, and Third, plus a randomly drawn payout for one player not in the top three.
In addition, to place a little more incentive on attending, and most importantly preregistering for this event Battle Front Gaming will be raffling off a few prizes, here is how it will work:
There will be 4 tiers of prizes, what tiers are given away will depend on the number of preregistered players in attendance the day of the event. For each tier that you were apart of you will receive an additional ticket. So if you qualified for tier one then you automatically gain a ticket each time the level goes up, so if the fourth tier is unlocked you will get four tickets to try and win a prize. The prizes will be raffled off highest tier going down, so 4, 3, 2, 1.
Tier 1 will unlock at 5 players and is the winners choice of a StarViper, or M3-A Interceptor.
Tier 2 is an IG-2000 at 10 players.
Tier 3 adds a Most Wanted set to the pool at 15 players.
Tier 4 is an Imperial Raider* if 20 or more players preregister.
Remember the only way to get a ticket and to unlocked the tiers are if players preregister AND show up to the event, showing up the day of will not count towards the next tier and will not get you a ticket. Preregistering and not showing up will not gain you a ticket and will not count towards a tier. Only preregistered players in attendance of the event count towards the finally tally and receive their tickets.
*On the off chance that the Imperial Raider is not available at the time of drawing, one will be given to the winner as soon as it arrives, even if that means we have to ship it to someone from out of town.
Official X-Wing Dogfight Tournament rules: 100pts, Swiss pairings, Same Squad for entire event.
All players should have a core set and all of its included cards and templates.
