I did suggest to Evan the FFG mod when we were discussing the sub forum that FFG have some 'trusted' player moderators. It wasnt something FFG wanted to do at the time.

I even put forward a list of possible candidates, people who in my mind were bright, thoughtful and not partisan. A few of them i totally didnt agree with on here but i thought there responses/return arguments were so sound and well thought out they would make good mods.

A few mods would do this place some good. It seems very lightly moderated.

I suggested about five 'player mods' from different countries so someone would always be online.

Just with the power to move posts to the right section or 'suspend' a post that was questionable.

Not the ability to edit peoples posts or ban people.

That wouldn't happen. FFG would be legally responsible for anything that those player mods posted. They could get in big trouble of one of those player mods went off and laid in to someone or made racist comments.

Hence why my suggestion was that the only 'power' a player mod had would be to move or suspend a post. Anything they posted would just be their opinion. Its done that way on hundreds of other commercial forums.

Oddly most the people i put forwards were people i dont actually agree with on here.

Mainly because they were people who i felt had put forwards a calm and reasoned argument against me and never descended to aggression, mockery or sniping personal attacks.
