Your favourite Agenda.

What is your favourite Agenda as the imperial player in the campaign.

My absolute favourite is "High Value Target". Early on this gives those necessary threat boosts and it lasts throughout the campaign! Pure awesomeness!

Imperial Industry, or whichever Agenda gives that card. Throw that bad boy on a pack of stormtroopers, use Stun, and watch all their precious actions go bye bye.

Ahhh.. "The Means of Production" very nice mission. Imperial Industry is also particularly nasty on a say...Royal Guard Champion! Stun, bleed and recover health. :)

Imperial Discipline.

Gotta love 2 focused imperial figures (impending doom) or 3 moves (tactical maneuvering) . If you really need to win a mission, these cards will help.

I’m also pretty excited to try out the Crimson Empire agenda since I love my royal guards :)

I was using an agenda once that said "discard it or shuffle it back into the agenda deck" what is the difference?

The real difference comes down to drawing agenda cards between missions. So let's say you draw a card, bought it, and liked it, you might want to use it again. But if you didn't like it, or don't think it will be useful again, you wouldn't want it again. Since you only get to draw 4 cards from the agenda deck between missions, having to see one of those 4 as something you didn't want can be a waste. It's a nice little game play mechanic that really adds to a campaign.

The agendas seem like a waste of money (i know they are not, but just starting out I am not yet seeing their importance)

Which ones do you all target to get?

Well three come in each group.

Generally the side missions are good options. They force the rebels to either take your side mission or auto give you a units as a reward.

For example if the rebels have the side mission granting them luke you may play a side mission that grants you a special unit (IG88 for example) as an open group unit. If they choose to go ahead with a Luke mission you'll then get IG88 added to your choices for open groups for the remainder of the campaign. Using different agendas will grant the DS player different open groups and such keep the campaign fresh.

Another one I've seen is one that forces the rebel players to pay credits or grant you influence. This is great because you can force them to not buy the best upgrade or wrack up additional agendas later in the campaign.

Breaking Point. Supply Deficit is a joyous card.

Check out this thread over at BGG. It covers all the current agenda cards as well as Wave 1. Some good comments there :)

The main point: you want to build an agenda deck that caters to your chosen Imperial Class

Subversive tactics + supply deficit = groan worthy upgrade stage for the rebel players :P

High Value Target is my favourite so far. need to play more agendas

High Value Target has also been my favorite. I got it semi-early in the campaign, and I have used it every mission. A close second would be restorative supplies. Being able to heal a model for ~4 damage on average is gold, especially since almost half the missions have either a villian or a center piece model that the IP needs to keep alive. Just imagine trying to work on Vader, getting 5 damage through on a few attacks, only to have all that healed up soon after? It must be frustrating ;) Even if there isn't a Villian in the mission, the card still works well on a Royal Guard, or other elite model.

Also, if Sabotage Plans comes up, I usually try and get it and hold for if the Rebels get Temptation.

I love Ig-88, so i want to buy his agenda as soon as i can. he is a recurring nightmare that haunts the heroes in my group

IG-88 is broken with that Recover. Such a pain.
