If the Imperial player buys 2 Imperial Side Missions at the same time, what happens?
Two Imperial Side Missions at the same time?
I would imagine that the Rebel players choose one to resolve, and then the second gets added to the next Side Mission selection stage?
Or (if one is chosen by the Rebel players) the other gives its reward to the Imperial player?
I believe that all the agenda cards that are side missions state "After Rebels resolve any other side mission, discard this card and receive the reward listed below". If this happened in my game I would say that the Rebels pick one mission to play, and the Imperial players gets the reward from the other. While the payoff is guaranteed, I don't know if it's worth the risk. The Imperial player would have to bank 6 influence. If the Rebels are spending their credits and XP when they get it, then it could make it harder for the Imp to win and take longer for the payoff to happen. Although, some missions will give the Imp 3 influence on a win, so after 2 of those you're good to go. Plus you're relying on luck of the draw: pg. 14 LTP Guide
"During the Imperial Upgrade Stage, the Imperial player player shuffles his Agenda deck and secretly draws four Agenda cards. He may spend influence to purchase one or more of these cards".
So if you managed to draw 2 side mission cards, and you have 6 influence, go for it. But I wouldn't play for that to happen.
Now if you could manage to play 3 side mission cards at once, the payoff would be well worth it.

"Types of Agenda Cards". RRG, Page 4:
Side Mission: Some Agenda cards are played as side missions. After purchasing one of these cards, place it faceup on the table; it is now an active side mission. This Agenda card is kept with the active missions between sessions. Discard the card after the mission is resolved.
Each Agenda Side Mission states that after the rebels resolve any other side mission, then the Imperial player automatically wins the Agenda Side mission. So this means, if you go by RAW, that if the Imperial player plays two Agenda Side Missions, he/she is guaranteed to automatically score one of them.
That said, personally I feel it requires some clarification from the design team as I do not believe they foresaw this scenario as a possibility. I believe the cards should probably state that they are scored automatically after the rebels resolve a *non-agenda* side mission , but that's not what RAW says.
But maybe they did. I think we should ask.
