when you spend a focus token you may acquire a target lock

can the target lock be used straight away? also if it cant can it be used with a second attack ie y-wing turret when it has the title?

Focus tokens are usually either spent to make an attack (i.e blaster turret which is spent before the dice are rolled) or to modify an attack or defence roll

as long as green dice have not yet been rolled, and you haven't finished modifying your red dice, the target lock may be used

ok so i got it

Focus for my action

roll 2 dice one hit one blank

i spend my focus to change nothing

gain a target lock

spend the target lock

then the defender rolls there dice
