Just curious if anyone has had any wins with a dual Aggressor list in any tournaments lately?
And if so how did you do?

I think somebody took first with dual Aggressors, or at least got to top 4.
I went 2-2 with my dual Aggressor build. It beat a 7-TIE swarm 100-0 and got a timed win against Soontir, Whisper and 2 Academies. Lost against BBBBZ and Turr/Soontir/Sigma (too much stress in that last one).

2nd place at my local store champ was B & C, expert handling - heavy laser - advanced sensors - auto-thrusters
Personally, I prefer being able to mix mangler with thrusters, sensors, inertial and predator. That seems to be the scariest thing to me, personally (stupid accurate, incredibly durable, ridiculously flexible, almost impossible to plan for, and if you successfully plan around it he has an "out" via dampeners)

I plan on using Mangler cannons on my list...Im not sold on putting HLC on Aggressors. Just because you can does not mean it needs to be used all the time. But yes i do plan on using all the popular options for means of evasion.

I got first with Dual IG88 (B+C) in a Store Championship
Both of them had Predator, Advanced Sensors, Mangler, Autothrusters, Title and Seismic Charges (4 points left so I went for Seismics to have some AoE against swarmy lists, also it applies some pressure to my opponent as he has to think about potential seismic drops.. or that they forget about them..)
The list isn't that dominating. My games were pretty tough overall and I placed 4. after swiss rounds (3-1)
I won against Leebacca by points (Chewie had 1 hull left)
Won against Triple Lambda + Whisper closely by points (13p difference, basically I killed all of his shuttles and lost one IG88)
Won against Dash + 2A-Wing + 2Z95 list by opponent conceding out of frustration. (Would've won it anyways, but there was chance of me losing one IG88
Lost against Fat Han, but won it afterwards in top4
Finals were against Etahn+ 4A-Wing
You want to be at Range 3 most of the time, but if you are at range 1 and get to shoot some Z95, they die like flies.
I played pretty defensively with them by boosting and evading a lot. Predator + Gunner helps in offense and Autothrusters on defence
I didn't take that much of damage into my IG88's (3 rounds of shooting from 4 ships and I took 1 shield damage.. Thanks to Autothrusters)
As for Cannons, Mangler > HLC anyday on IG. Against high hull point ships eg Falcon and Deci, you get criticals every time you shoot.
7 criticals on Han is pretty brutal.
I took 2 to a store championship the other day.
First 2 games I did not lose any ships whilst taking 44 and 45 points off my opponents, (I found it quite hard to dispose of all my opponents ships but that might just need a little refinement on my part.)
Third game I made a wrong dial movement in turn 2 which caused me to get boxed into the flank by chewie and a Bwing. (My opponent just kept bumping me till he killed me with the Bwings. Not sure if deliberately blocking someone infinitely till you destroy them is an abuse but it was my own fault in the first place so meh )
I was able to run him around the table for 40 minutes though with the other IG.
What I did note was that I really struggled to kill the Dash's, Chewies etc of this world.
Also one of my opponents scored 4 hits per turn for 3 turns with his HLC on Dash, you really cannot compensate for dice like that.
Couple of things I will change.
I will take Advanced Sensors as Boost, evade is godly on these. I will give Feedback Array a try and see how that works out.
Im glad to see so many of you went with dual agressors, especially B and C. So far what I plan on using in my list everyone else is pretty much doing the same thing. I really like the idea of seismic charges. Thats a potential threat that they are going to have to worry about during a game. And im glad to see everyone doing well with dual aggressors. Hopefully I will do just as well.
Did any of you have much time to play your Aggressors to get adjusted to their playstyle before going to your tournament events.
This is what I worry about because I dont get to play the game so much with Having other obligations i.e jobs. So i might have to set up games with myself if anything just to get an idea of how the aggressor plays.
I flew the B+C dual Aggressor list and it can be very strong. The upgrades I used (same on both) were: Predator, Mangler Cannon, Inertial Dampeners, Advanced Sensors, Autothrusters, IG-2000. So, 98 points. Both Inertial Dampeners and Segnor's Loop proved very useful, so Advanced Sensors is required to compensate for the stress. Also, Autothrusters is as strong as expected.
Got 2nd in a small Game Night tournament. Went 3-1 in swiss and would probably have done better if there was a top cut. Here's the report

I haven't taken mine to a tourney yet. I plan on going next weekend to SC, wife permitting ![]()
I haven't really played many 'live' games with mine neither - just a couple practice games trying out a few different ideas with a friend in a casual setting, so I understand your predicament.
But something that has helped me get used to them is just taking them out on the kitchen table for a 'spin' (with asteroids laid out). They really seem to make big movements and although turning around isn't a problem, they cover a lot of ground. This takes getting used to, so practicing by yourself is not a bad idea to get a feel for how different they fly.
So far I'm torn as to whether I like my B+C or B+D list better. Both have manglers, which are pretty good, but I'm also toying with an idea using C+D & HLCs...
I love that there are lots of choices though!
Imo A + D are situational where B + C are very hands on every turn.
I would find it very difficult to use any other pairing than B + C.
A and D might have a niche somewhere but so far I haven't really found it.

I played one game with them on Vassal the week before S&V hit my store. They came in the following Wednesday and I got 3 games in with my Aggressors. The Store Championship was that next Saturday, so I only had 4 games with the Aggressors before getting to the SC. Would have liked more time, but I don't like using Vassal proxies if I can help it and I pretty much only play Vassal against my twin brother.

I really like D + Outmaneuver. Having the extra S-loop option gives you a good chance of dodging arcs and activating Outmaneuver.
I used B and C with ion cannons through a variety of configurations over the past several weeks. I scored third on a tournament and first on another (earning a Most Wanted pack on that last one, yay!)
My lists are more "control" oriented, relying on autothrusters and evade tokens for defense while B's gunner effect (most often with predator) ensures that an Ion hits with a possible range 1 attack to follow on the next turn. I still have a lot of wiggle room left for other upgrades, hence why I'm still testing different lists.

A good thing to do with new ships that fly a bit differently is to place them on a table and fly them through asteroids. That was my only preparation for the tournament as I did not have time to get any games before it. The ship that comes the closest in handling I'd say is A-wings which also enjoy big maneuvers, only they become even bigger with Aggressors.
