Anybody know of a way to get extra rebel dials for the Z-95 and Y-Wing that we got with the most wanted pack?
Rebel dials for most wanted ships
What do you need extra dials for? The new tourney rules allow any faction dial for a given ship, it's the base tokens and cards they require to be correct.
What "extra dials" are you talking about?
Maybe I'm wrong but most Most Wanted has two Z-95 dials and two models so there are no extras there. You could say there are 'extra' dials for a Y-Wing, HWK, and Firespray as they don't include models. Don't want them you could give them to someone who wants to be "pure" when playing scum or you could just throw them out.
My hope would have been to have the cardboard used for those additional dials be used for an additional tile or two making it easier to repurpose ships.
I just saw that some people were selling off their S&V HWK and Firespray cards and dials on ebay.
Was wondering if anyone knew of anyone doing the opposite anywhere.
The only way to get extra Rebel dials is to buy extra Y-Wing expansion packs.
I'd recommend just using only Scum dials for Y-Wings. Makes it easier to distinguish their dial from your other Rebel ships.

If you buy 2 Most Wanted boxes you have 2 HWK and 2 Firespray dials, many people may only have 1 of each of those ships so the extra cards and dials don't do them any good.
But there is no pack that gives you extra rebel dials, you get 1 per ship you buy. So no one would be selling dials separately.

As VadorDM already mentions it is pretty easy to get "extra" Scum stuff for the HWK and Firespray because you get them with no guarantee you can use them. If you want those ships to use in their original factions you already have the appropriate cards to run them so there is no need for more.
MAYBE someone would go exclusively Scum and purchase the Y-Wing expansion with no desire for the cards, dials, and base tiles for the Rebel uses. I guess this there is a small possibility of this.
The chances of someone buying Z-95 Expansions just to fill their Scum ranks is pretty slim and even if done the person would need those expansion pack dials for their ship. Maybe two people would agree to swap Scum and Rebel stuff but the Z-95s don't have much in the way of extra components aside from pilot cards and tiles.
You could roll out 4 Scum z-95s and two Ys with:
1 Most Wanted
2 Z-95 Expansion
1 Y-Wing Expansion
You can indeed use the rebel dials in Scum faction (and vice versa) as long as the pilot and ship cardboard is faction specific.

Isn't that more expensive than just buying 2 most wanted packs?

2 Most Wanted boxes are $80 retail. 1 Most wanted + 3 expansions would be $85 retail.
Although you do get rebel pilots and other upgrades, so if you have no ships and want both Rebel and S&V that's not a bad way to go.

I paid $80 for those? I really need to start looking at my receipts...

Well that's the retail price.
I didn't pay that much myself I got them from Mini Market for $28 per box.

I'm not sure that's accurate. If I recall correctly, there are only 3 ship tokens in Most Wanted, so you'd only be able to fly 3 Scum Z-95s.

You would need 2 Y-wing expansions in order to fly 3 Y-wings though. Perhaps he just switched them around.
Definitely possible for people looking for extra upgrade cards, I traded away all my Rebel stuff recently to focus my resources on Empire and Scum but I'd love to have another set of Wingman and Munitions Failsafe.
Yep yep - my math was wrong. Apologies. The main point being though that dials aren't faction specific
MW comes with 3 Z95 ship tokens:
Binaytre Pirate / Black Sun Soldier
Binaytre Pirate / Kaa'To Leeachos
Black Sun Soldier / N'Dru Shulak
So, 1 MW & 1 rebel Z would allow you to use 3 ships, but it would force limitations on which pilots you could combine.

Man. I remember the angst people were having back when they suspected this was not going to be the case. I remember, not even a few months ago, people talking about selling off their stuff and swearing off FFG for the 'fact' that they weren't going to allow the dials for the Rebel Z-95s to be used.
Couldn't believe it at the time. In retrospect, I bet a bunch of those aren't even aware that they were really gnashing teeth over nothing.

With MW and 2 Z-95 Expansions you could do four Rebels Z-95s but only three Scum because of those base tiles. It's not much but it is something.
To me the perfect things would have seen those extra most wanted dials replaced by more base tiles. Maybe some of them could have even had a Scum ship on one side and a generic from the other faction on the other. A Pirate/Bandit token would be nice even without additional pilot cards.
I dunno its worked out perfectly for me.
I've bought two sets of MW which means i've got four Z95s, two Y wings and the dials for my two HWKs and two firesprays.
The only 'surplus' i have is two y wing dials.... i *could* use them to fly 'pure' scum y wings by using two of my rebel y wings but i painted my y wings in the classic ANH scheme so to me it looks odd.
IMO they would have been better off making the extra dial a 3rd Z95 one as im more likely to want more of those than Y wings.
