Front page article now gone

By Geekopolis, in Star Wars: Armada

Did anyone else see the article this morning that said Armada was shipping next week? It was up on the front page, but it looks like it has since been removed.

Yup, it also had the rules linked in it. Cannot find it now.

Maybe one of the web guys goofed and pushed publish too soon.

Missed it, but oh so frustrating to hear. Jist give us something FFG! Even if it is a delayed date.

Mayb it's a good sign though. They have a shipping article ready.

somebody missclicked :) guess its in layouting and waiting for go

so at least we know whats the next news item. there usualy is a property of such posts or items if you want to post it public or to a certain closed user group. i guess that went wrong.

Well drat. I was hoping someone had copy/pasted text for us.

Hoping it'll show up for good soon then. I wonder if that's the same article that appeared briefly when the site had its makeover a few weeks back.

did you manage to dl the rules ? :)

you might have it in your browser history if you switch to offline mode

The rules link actually didn't work. Just took you to the game's support page.

They put up a strategy article that I read but can no longer find.

It gave 4 sample fleets(2 per side, 2 core, 2 with expansions) with potential strategies for each fleet.

Right that is what we are talking about. It also had the rules linked in it.

i already checked google cache but they dont have it :) . i guess fair play i better anyways :) .

I didn't see the article, but I do notice that they updated the upcoming page for a lot of the other items that were last updated 2/25/15 and listed as "On the Boat" (IA among them). The IA expansions are now listed as shipping to stores, with expected release dates of 3/20/15. Unfortunately, Armada has not been updated as of this second.

This is the second time they've jumped the gun with an armada release article, correct? Sigh.

well, hearing this im excited for the actual submission to show up with the rules included! i wish the rules link had worked so someone would have it downloaded.

Sorry, they seem to be back on the boat now. :(

That's a peculiar thing to revert. Maybe it was a day in advance? Seems like FFG try to only post one news article a day.

The statuses vary depending on where you view them. A few people have noticed since the redesign that products will appear differently between mobile and PC viewing. It's happening for me right now with IA.

Just a side note: the company wants those games in our hands as they are making no profit from it in storage and shipping containers. The fact that they jump the gun once in a while is good news. They are trying and I am grateful for that.

(In the mean time who wants to go Rebel and do a raid on a storehouse?)

Here's hoping it's imminent! I'm so excited. :D

YOU'RE TEARING ME APART FFG!

Darth Vader: [Angrily] The Rebels are alerted to our presence. Admiral (FFG) came out of lightspeed too close to the system.

Veers: He felt surprise was wiser—

Darth Vader: He is as clumsy as he is stupid. General, prepare your troops for a surface attack.
