I was looking at using some ion warthogs in a list and a question popped up with the title. I tried looking up a few different things in the forums and I couldn't find anything but I hope this wasn't already asked or clarified I guess. But anywaus my question is, can the second attack due to the title be performed with a different ship as the target? Say my Ywing shoots at ship A and maybe destroys it, would I be able to shoot at ship B of its at range 1-2 in my firing arc? I hope u was clear enough im my question and thank you for the help I appreciate it as always.

There are no restrictions on the Title so if you have a second valid target fire away.

The BTL-A4 allows for another attack to occur (just with your turret weapon), which includes all the steps from declaring a target all the way to suffering damage.

After you perform a primary weapon attack, you may immediately perform an attack with a secondary weapon". Now the title says you CAN attack ships outside your arc. Which one is true or how do you play this??

The title says you cannot and the cannon says you can.

Rulebook page 20:

If one card ability forbids an effect, while another ability allows it, the effect is forbidden.

The title sacrifices your ability to shoot outside your arc (with a Turret upgrade) for the ability to attack twice instead.

So the short answer is that I can not shoot outside my arc, but I can shoot twice- once with the primary and once with the secondary. Got it.

What weapon you use for the first shot is irrelevant. Only the second shot is restricted to a turret weapon.

Not that it hasn't been said already but I actually ran into this last night, banged up a crippled Bomber really bad with my primary then Ion'd a Decimator. Totally fair as per the upgrade card's lack of restrictions.
