Where is the biggest online presence?

By alexbobspoons, in Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game

So it seems the online presence of the game isnt that strong.

Here gets a few posts

Reddit is pretty dead

BGG gets a few

A few crop up in warhammer forums

But no real hive of activity.

Is it because theres not much to chat about the game anymore?

Is it because people are playing instead of chatting?

Is there an active forum I dont know about?

Do we need a fresh new forum to pull posts/interests together in one place?

Is the games online presence simply dying?

Thoughts people?

we need FFG to resurect this game and start ceanking out expansions again!

I'd say BGG is the most active forum in my experience. But yeah, there isn't a lot of chatting on the internet. Without any new stuff coming out and no active FFG support, people don't have a lot of stuff to talk about. That doesn't stop me and a couple of buddies from having a Cataclysm night every other week, though. <smiley emoticon>

Understood and agreed.

Cant see ffg resurecting now. If they did i think it would be a reboot, but with the games workshop upcoming changes to the warhammer world i do doubt it.

Rules questions do come up at times.

Be nice to see interesting battle reports of games, or discussion on the fan expansion.

Thanks for posting you guys, keeps interest flowing.

There has never been a lot of activity here. All the LCG communities are somewhat fractured, with most of the English discussion happening at BGG and/or Cardgamedb. For Invasion, many Europeans have always preferred their national forums in their native languages. Sometimes we get discussions in the comments at Winvasion.

Thanks. Yes ive seen some of the winvasion comment threads, made me wonder if you would attach a forum there ever.

Its good to know that forum busyness has always been quiet and that its not just a recent thing thanks :)

Well, activity has certainly gone down since the cancellation, there just wasn't a whole lot before.

We don't plan to set up our own forums at Winvasion. No need to fracture the community even more.

Thats a very good point yes, hadnt thought of it like that :) fractured enough already
