I have a question about IG-88 A - flying to of IGs lets say A and B, and If B destroys one ship both of IGs recovers a shield?

Right. In general, when the rules say "you" can do something, they mean "just this ship, and nobody else".
Even if you have the title, B just gains that ability. It doesn't share the effect when A does it.
Which sucks...A isn't particularly useful with it's ability as is.
Especially in our current 2-ship meta
I think it's pretty clear that the IG-88s were designed to be used in numbers, not singly. Once you've got a pair of them, they can get quite a bit nastier. So when flying IG-88A and B, both would get to attack again when they miss, and both would get to regain a shield when they destroy a ship, but as DailyRich said, it's not a shared kill sort of deal.

Eh. You're only gaining 7 shields back in the game. And I'm betting a swarm would wreck IGs, if flown decently. Just send on in to block, let the rest eat them.
If you roll green dice like I do (last night was three blanks, then three blanks, then FIVE blanks), a swarm will end you. Fast.
I ran all 4 versions of IG-88 and 4 Mangler-toting Scyks in an epic game.
Whichever of the 4 Aggressors was lowest in shields was the one I let get the kill shot on my opponents' ships.
Still only gained back 4-5 shields all game.
It just seems so vastly underpowered compared to the other 3. I guess if you're at 2 hull, gaining an additional shield at that point is pretty good, but still fairly weak compared to a free evade action or a free gunner

"Only 4-5"... Considering a single shield upgrade gives one shield at 4 points, thats 16-20 points worth you got from it. Not to bad I'd say.
