I'm looking a a sentient monkey-like species,preferably Sil 0.

Right now the closest thing I can think of is monkey lizards, which would work, but isn't quite what I've got in mind.

Any of you know of a better option?

Not quite simian but what about a Dug? (Sebulba's species) I believe they would be Sil 0.

They're more like space bunnies, but you could use Kushiban . They're definitely silhouette 0 and sentient, though I'm not sure how important simian characteristics are for your plan.

What about Lurmen ? The ones we see in TCW are pacifists, but if that doesn't suit your story you can think of all sorts of reasons to make them angry and violent.

Understand that it has to do with one my my players flipping through an old fan-sourcebook that has pretty much every species ever and now every time she makes a new character she wants a "Cabbit."

Of course! It's not a completely perfect match, but it's absolutely close enough, and a species the players will recognize if they've seen Clone Wars.

That's usually Plan B for stuff like this. When possible I prefer to reference something the players could recognize over making something new.

you could just use a real Ape. go simian on it. the DC villian. a regular ape that was experimented on. depending on how extreme, you could use the Droid species rules. just an idea.
