not available for sale

Just saying thank you for having prices for all your ships.

Really helps understanding the differences in scale

Saga edition where 70% o f ships had "not available for sale" was incredibly annoying.

Like "yes I know Darth Vader isn't trying to auction off his star destroyer right now, but surely a ship of that size wasnt built for free, are you saying if my PCs had a trillion credits no one would be interested in making a deal with a capital ship"

Pretty sure even the tie fighters had "not for sale"

I'm not sure the Empire would sell you an ISD for any price. While a PC might not be able to purchase a TIE fighter on Craigslist, it should make for an interesting adventure to steal one. :)

Perhaps, but one of the plots I threw at my players was that Teemo had commissioned a modified Lancer Frigate from Kuat before the players ratted him out to Jabba, and Trax is trying to claim it in Teemo's name now that it's almost complete. Thus leading to Shenanagans and Adventure at Kuat Drive Yards.

Yeah lol. But its good to have the understanding of value so I know the contrast.

Although I could imagine PCs being involved in military contracts.

why wouldn't the empire sell you a ship. I don't mean the empire under the emperor, but after the movies. the empire has lost. the value of it's money is diminishing compared to the nr currency. a captain or moff could, if desperate enough, sell one. Russians did after the fall of the USSR

Heck, with all of the rampant corruption going on it would surprise me if an Imperial Quartermaster DIDN'T sell inappropriate goods.

Sure you could,

I have this pile of crap TIE/IN, 340,000 parsecs on the engines, handling of a shopping cart and the structural stability of a baked bean can but you know what you're in for. Dents on both radiators, its cool, chicks dig scars and will still hit speed 5 in a pinch.

35,000c OBO, no lowballers, I know what I got.
