I just noticed something:

Palob Godalhi is a terrifying Opportunist.

You have been warned.

Been saying this since the previews came out. With a K4 droid he's packing a lot of synergy, and can even afford to boost once in a while if you give him Engine. Not sure what squad you build around him, but he's surprisingly offensive for a HWK and would draw a lot of attention away from someone else you want to survive to the later stages of the game.

Kavil I don't necessarily recommend for Opportunist. Throwing a big pile of dice some of the time sounds nice, but you either get modified attacks or an Unhinged 'mech to clear the stress. The inability to get both sucks. Predator or VI/Agromech might be the better choice there, though some have success giving him a 4-dice ICT to help him tag even the most dodgy ships.

Overall I feel Kavil is harder to build with. With ICT it feels like she's not doing enough damage, Autoblaster turret has crap range (though VI and Engine would help a little to ensure you can use it), Blaster turret requires him to always focus (so she's susceptible to blocking, stress, etc.) ... I think someone on Team Covenant (Theorist maybe?) said she doesn't seem to have the right turret upgrade cards available yet and I think he may be right. That or maybe a new 'mech option comes out that really works for him.

After a million small edits to the post, I remember Drea is a lady. So many edits...

I played rebel HWK alot and most useful move during firefight for HWK is a 2-turn. Need for green moves very restrictive for such fragile ship as HWK.

Some tokens Palob will give to Kaa'To for focus+TL shots (or defensive use).

K4 is an option, but HWK suffers from it.

I agree with this, I occasionally run Jan Ors and if she doesn't fly with Biggs then she definitely has Nien Nunb on board.

Palob can afford to boost a decent chunk of the time, especially if you have a focus in the bank, but it does make the HWK a bit easy to block. I too found that hard 2 was often the move of choice for the little HWK. So Palob may bump but he's quite as vulnerable due to his abilities and upgrades.

I posted a similar list a few days ago except I used Serissu as my Decoy instead of Kavil and had Laetin with a Mangler instead of the Pirate. I think my list would probably be too light on damage and even though it spends a lot on defense would still get burnt down quickly by a lot of lists.

I see two big problems with your list. The first is that a 99 point Palob list or a list with Carnor Jax absolutely eviscerates your firepower as does any list that can bring some action denial. The second problem is that Palob is going to be extremely focus starved if you've got him paying for Leechos to run Bodyguard. Without Recon Spec you are only going to have 2 or 3 focus tokens banked before the first round of shooting. You are going to go through 3 or 4 tokens each round. In my experience with Palob you can't count on his ability to actually ever steal a token, especially when he is one of the heavy hitters in your list.

I am trying to take ships that have 1-straight move in the lists with HWK. So I can make more turns before start of the fight (I flying away from enemy at start of the game also) and have 5-6 (or even more) focus tokens. More so opponent start to worry when you stack pile of tokens and able to make some mistakes in hurry.

That's why I don't take M3-A in the list (or don't take A-wings in rebel HWK lists).
