How rare are the limited cards?

So far I have

1 x academy

1 x scimatar

3 x soontir fels.

Had a small store championship today and the to was handing them out like candy.

Just wondering if its worth selling some soontirs

Considering how many store championships there is and the stack of promos each gets I'm sure many of people have extras. I haven't even been to one and I have two from friends who got extras at events.

Sontir you could probably sell it for 5-10 dollars.

That's the going rate on ebay

The cards from store kits are not all that rare due to abundance.

It's the ones from world's, national and regional that go for more

Lando for example goes for 250

Chewy and vader 60-80

Luke and wedge 50

Boba fett 120-200

The only cards from store kits that go for a little more are ones that only two of

Biggs and Han solo 20-25 bucks.

Cards that are participating prize, Sontir, ten numb, academy etc etc

5-10 bucks

A reasonable scan, a trip to Kinko's and a pair of scissors would be much cheaper!

To think how many ships one could buy with that much coin.

Poor guy on my street bought soonti for $100 + postage.

Going to be spewing when I tell him I got three just for attending a SC.

How many stores get tournament kits in?

I know probably a dozen within 4 hours drive on my place, and they all get the Sontir card.

Now on a bigger scale, how many stores in Canada and us get a store kit?

So how many Sontir are in circulation?

Regional

Only 6-8 in Canada.

So less cards in circulation

National only one per country that I'm aware of

World's only one

So as you go up the chain the cards become more rare which is why the high price

It's crazy what people pay

Last year regional dice going for 250-300 on ebay

A single focus token going for 10

Or 80 some for a set

For what he paid he could have gotten both a Luke and wedge from a regional event

Or chewy from a national (I've seen chewy sell on ebay for 50 the lowest price)

Or a vader

Few more bucks and patience could get boba fett from worlds

I feel bad for the guy paying 100 for Sontir

Then search for items that sold and you'll see what some recent auctions that ended with cards that sold

Some cards go for pretty cheap

Gold Squadron is about the same.

I'm just listing average prices

Scimitar, academy, black squadron etc, anywhere from 2-5 bucks really.

It's a legal card as far as I'm aware.

It's not a third party.

It has all the correct stats and etc.

I don't think if you showed up to a tournament with a alt art card from ffg organize play that you would be refused to use it.

Bear in mind that those who bought the clear dice early would be looking at a big profit if they sold them now.

The moneys not gone, it's stored in a collectable that could easily rise in price.

I highly doubt you'll see an alternate art Lando card at a tourney any time soon.

20 years from now they maybe worth more or nothing at all.

Chances are probably not as much as they are now

If this game became like mtg cards from today will be worth a lot down the road

If this game is forgotten about in 5 years time, 10 years later you maybe able to get Lando for 25-50 bucks

It would be sleeved, and I'd keep it on me at all times

I know people who still use black lotus

Still, it comes nowhere near the price people are willing to pay for the SW:LCG Force Coin. It does nothing to the game that the existing cardboard token doesn't do, but it is shiny!
