Adjacent pop quiz question!

By DarkJodo, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Figure A:

[_][_][w][_][_]

[_][_][w][_][_]

[_][Y][w][w][w]

[_][_][X][_][_]

[_][_][_][_][_]

Figure B:

[_][_][w][_][_]

[_][_][w][_][_]

[_][Y][w][w][w]

[w][w][X][_][_]

[_][w][_][_][_]

Which of the following are true?

1. X and Y are adjacent in figure A

2. X and Y are adjacent in figure B

3. X and Y are adjacent in both figure A and B

4. X and Y are not adjacent in either figure A and B

A is adj and B isnt. I wasnt thinking straight when we played.

I assume that W = Wall (or other blocking terrain)? If so, then Johnny is correct. X and Y are only adjacent in Figure A.

Assuming w= wall (personally, I rather use # or * for walls in a Fizzgrid™)

In diagram A, they are adjacent.

Figure X and Y not adjacent in diagram B, you also cannot draw line of sight or move through the gap where both of those wall corners touch.
