For Character & Alternate endings I now use Ultra-Pro 4"x6" SoftSleeves, since the Thai Boardgame Group ones seem to no longer be available. However the Ultra-pro are too long on 1 side and have to be trimmed, but the other 3 sides are perfect! I find these cheaper than the others I have looked into, particularly those photo bags being promoted lately. I am very happy with these:

I think I have gotten them from both Ebay and Amazon. Cheapest I could find at the time. They also are the same size for the characters in the SuperHero game called Heroes Incorporated, and use them for that as well.

So, quality is great, fit is great, price is great (cheapest of all I have seen). But you have to trim 1 side.

I use the same ones as Domagb. The way I trimmed them was I took a piece of heavy styrene used for signs and cut it 1/8" longer than the cards. I would stick that piece in each sleeve and then cut it with a very sharp exacto knife. They came out uniform and clean.

Also using these for Relic, and the characters from Battlestar Galactica, so they are proving useful. I just finished sleeving all my tax return games, over 2000 cards

The sleeves I bought this time were not for Talisman, as I caught a sale about a month ago when I did my tax return game purchases, and luckily caught a Mayday Games sale then, and bought some more Talisman sleeves at that time, which gave me points for tonite's purchase.

I use Swan Panasia 70 x 92 mm for 2nd Edition Character/Ending Cards and quite enjoy them.
