Lightsabers!

By UnfairBanana, in X-Wing Off-Topic

It's Friday, so let's have some fun.

If you had a lightsaber, what would it be? Single hilt? Double blade? Two sabers? Lightwhip? Something equally crazy? What color?

Go!

Well after Kanan masterfully used the gun saber, i'm going to go with that.

Green. Single lightsabre .. Green. When Luke pops his open on Endor to fight the speeder bikes .. YES!

Having said that, I'm a clumsy fella. I'd last exactly 2.7 seconds before I would be unable to hold a lightsabre again.

Red. Standard grip. 6 of them.

Thats right: SIX lightsabers .

Two in my hands, and the other four suspended, by the foce , in mid air around me.

Think about it: If you can manipulate objects with the force, why not use that to fight with?

Use the force to spin a lightsaber around horizontally and then throw it like some kind of destructo disk.

Or just hurl them like spears.

Saber-chucks.

How about... lightwhip. Colour is basically irrelevant, but that description of silver blades from KotOR2 always got me.

Silver, 2 sabers. A left handed "standard" blade, and a right handed "main gauche".

That's right. I've got a sinister build. What of it?

Two blood-red double-sided ones.
Or a darksaber

I don't care either way

Kreia says hello

Saber-chucks.

As a user of nunchucks, lemme tell you that one's a bit of a bad idea...mandatory self-mutilation. There's no way around that one.

I challenge you to try and manipulate two staffs! Not so practical :P

3 x lightsabres , 2 normal length ( RED ) and custom fit for my body length and one a lot smaller sabre for all of those odd jobs like opening mail, drilling holes, cutting nails, reheating cold coffee and lost in the dark stuff.

Longbow. Dark blue for the energy.

So, Robin is now Xaldin...

I'd like mine to be orange yellow, and I'd like to be able to extend the blade 50' or so, and pulse it. So when I parry you it works, and when you parry me, the pulse lets me past your guard.

I refer you to trakata .

A technique where you shut off your blade to pass through theirs, then reactivate it for the kill.

Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

I'll take you light saber and raise you the imperial repeater gun :P

'Block this......'

Lightdaggers, two, for easy plunging in backs and necks and ears.

Ever since reading Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, I've always been partial to the curved-hilt lightsabers. I'd go for an orange blade.

In fact, that's what I always used in Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. There was a cool mod of Count Dooku's lightsaber that even altered the angle of the blade. I would always use that with an orange blade. Good times.

If you're going for stealthy attacks you probably shouldn't use a light-up weapon.

A light shield.

Just make sure you don't drop it - that thing will burn straight through the hull of your ship, or right through the planet's core!

If you're going for stealthy attacks you probably shouldn't use a light-up weapon.

Especially one that emits a loud crackle and hum when you whip it out...

Sure you do, just don't ignite them until you're ready.

If they can respond to the sound, you're taking too much risk.

Don't ignite them until the emitter's already placed at the base of their skull.

Two sabers:

Green main saber. Green for the diplomatic part of me.

Orange short saber. Orange for when diplomacy fails and stuff just needs to get done.

Don't ignite them until the emitter's already placed at the base of their skull.

That's the way to do it. You hear the sizzling of their own front teeth.

A blue Claysabermore! For taking on Super Star Destroyers. ;)
