Would this be in any way viable? Fly them in a loose formation. I kind of doubt it though.

Well, it has 40 HP's to chew through, but limited firepower. I'd fly them in a 2 and 3 formation to concentrate fire. Keeping R1 will be a nightmare though. I might even be tempted to use BTL-A4 and attack en masse and use my K-turn so I could fire both weapons in close...

You will need to split them into 2 groups though so you opponent is somewhat forced into R1 of either group.

I actually think it might be viable. Maybe give 3 of them the title and 2 without to get arc-dodgers. 3 can throw 5 dice at range 1 with 2 of those being unavoidable. It can hit really hard at range 1. Really hard.

What about this:

3 Y-wings w/ Autoblasters & unhinged astromech (w/ or w/out title)

3 Binayre Pirates

-36 vs. 40 hit points

-PS 1 blockers to box in opponents - force auto blaster shots

-6 vs. 5 ships

-All 3s are green, which opens up a lot of maneuvers for the Y-wings!!!

Thoughts? I am very interested in refining a squad around autoblasters.

If the arc dodgers (well, not "arc" in this case as much as "range 1 bubble) don't get you, boredom will

believe it or not, a guy i played today played exactly this list. it was stupid hard to dodge his range one with them blocking all the pathways and gumming up the works. managed to kill 2 of the buggers and almost kill a 3rd before going down in flames

had the game been timed i would have lost a long time before that as well

What were you flying? Definitely more pumped to fly it now. At the very least it's never going to get wiped in a 60 minute round lol.

it was a fun scum list i ran with IG-88D, with AS, ID and 3 cartel spacers with manglers

wasn't the most competitive list but it had enough teeth to deal with most things. just not a swarm of autoblaster Y wings it would appear
