Hello everyone. In my play group we found a little problem abut the new shadow zone and getting characters and places out if it.

To put it in a simple example: I play Targaryen and i have a Great Piramid.
Can I kneel the Great Piramid and reduce the cost of taking Sir Barristan Selmy out of the shadows by 2?.

I don't think so, the Great Piramid (and other cards like that) say that it reduces the cost of PLAYING characters, but TAKING OUT OF THE SHADOWS seems to be a new term that doesn't count as "playing form the hand". My opinion that is.

You can't use Great Pyramid to lower the cost to put Selmy into play from Shadows any more than you can use Great Pyramid to lower the cost you pay when you use Ambush to put something like Dragon Thief into play.

hehe, i'm kidding. Well the fact is that we wanted to have a second opinion aobut this because ti would be something to take in consideration if it could be done, but seems like it can't be done for the moment. Well, the new shadow cards are nice enough wihtout this little gizmo
