New secondary weapon slot - Bundle of Great Big Rocks

This would naturally be superior to any advanced weapons available to the empire so I'd say maybe between 9 and 12 attack dice with the ability to flip all blanks, focus, and hits to crits

Nasty Pointy Stick

6 attack dice and ignores shields

a crew slot would be fun too

Cute little muppet thingy - 1 point

Your opponent must say "awwww how cute" while you eviscerate him with a piece of sharpened flint"

All of the above makes sense but don't forget, if it takes one single blast to the wing it spins out of control...that needs to be worked into the rules somehow.

Good point - how about giving them one hull point but a pilot ability that states:

when dealt a face up damage card you may mash one of your opponents ships to a pulp with two large tree trunks

I feel like the more often I say the word Dunelizard in a thread, the more likely it becomes. Yay internet voodoo...

If you say it 3 times in a row quickly ....... oh wait no that's Beetlejuice

Here are my 2 predictions.

  • An all scum wave giving more S&V ships to the faction to make them compete easier with the original 2 factions.
  • 2 S&V ships with 1 Rebel and 1 Imperial.

Prediction: Wave 7 will be three ships. One shared by Rebels and S&V, one shared by Imperials and S&V, and the last one being exclusive to S&V. That would put all 3 factions at the same number of ships.

I was thinking along those lines, but one Rebel ship, one Imperial ship, one Rebel/Scum, and one Imperial/Scum. One wave - three ships per side.

I think the wave of E VII, will be the 8 wave and only contain the new YT-1300, X-Wing, TIE Fighter and other ship, I think the new ships of EVII will not reveal until wave 9 or later, and for wave 7, FFG will give us two S&V one Imperial, and one Rebel, all from legends, greetings.

I don't think we will see new Ties. I will even argue that the X-Wings won't be too dissimilar from the OT ones - same dial maybe but a host of new pilots.

As for the Falcon, well here is where it gets tricksy. We can't have 2 variations of the same ship. We can have variations of the same ship model ... but not the same actual ship.

Being that Abrams and the mouse mafia probably don't want any more spoilers leaking before the movie is released, I doubt they'll want FFG's teams of designers, playtesters, and gencon marketers to know what they're up to. On the other hand FFG will want to release, or at least preview, another wave months before episode 7 hits the theaters. So Wave 7 will be more EU/Legends stuff (possibly mixed with the Ghost & Inquisitor's TIE from Rebels), and Wave 8 could very likely be Episode 7 ships.

I want the rest of the bounty hunter ships for S&V faction. Bossk in the Hound's Tooth, Dengar in the Punishing One, Zuckuss/4-Lom in whatever ship they used etc.

Mist Hunter.

Mist Hunter.

Couldn't remember it to save my life, thanks.

The real question is: What does the Mist Hunter bring to the game, other than Zuckuss/4LOM? It seems like a fairly middling ship beyond their Empire Strikes Back street cred.

I'm fairly sure we'll get another bounty hunter, although I'm not sure which one. I'd say Bossk personally. Then I'd wager another Imperial and Rebel ship that can package a buff for ordnance.

I'm not so sure about that.

Disney know exactly what the merchandising potential of this film is going to be - so they will want the toy and game (both traditional and computer game) manufacturers to have product hitting the shelves by the time of the film's release - if not earlier

I'm thinking one rebel ship, one imperial ship and two Scum ships. Probably Dengar or Bossk at least.

It seems to be the smallest of the ESB bounty hunter ships and the only one that isn't going to need to be a large ship. It's about the same length as a Y-Wing. This gives Scum the opportunity to get another small base ship that can take crew. 4LOM and Zuckuss will make for interest pilots and crew.

I picture the Zuckuss cards focusing on his prescience. Zuckus as a pilot would probably be PS5 (could be lower) but with a pilot ability that has him moving at PS 12 or maybe delaying his perform action step until the end of the activation phase. As a crew he could act like Intelligence agent but allow you to modify your dial based on the information, he is discarded is you do opt to change your move. I'm not sure what I'd do with 4LOM but I think it would be cool to see the same sort of symmetry with C3PO that exists between Scum and Rebel HWKs.

I'm guessing 3 ships!

1 Rebel

1 Imperial

1 Scum

2 scum and 1 of the other 2 would help even out the factions. The second scum ship could be their epic ship. Which ever ship they go with for that.
