Gyro or Kebab - How Do YOU Say It? How Do You Eat It?

By FTS Gecko, in X-Wing Off-Topic

Also, how do you eat it? Pitta or Naan? Salad? Tzatziki? Lemon? Chili sauce? Mint sauce?

yee-row with zat-zeekee

I call it shoarma.

I have it with pita bread (fresh and large) and with garlic sauce, lettuce and sambal.

P.S. That's a great video. I had a Geordie mate growing up, and so I immediately took to the accent. But I also like the idea of boiling the peppers. I'll have to try that.

Yeah, the Hairy Biker's version of the kebab looks a hell of a lot better than the stuff we get around here. They're a lot of fun to watch at work as well (for celebrity chefs, anyway)

But they are different things. ;) .

There's an s at the end of Gyros, first off. :P

I like to eat it with my hands, but I've been known to just use my face instead...
