A kind of interesting one, couldn't think of a precedent so I thought I'd ask here before sending it potentially off to FFG.

So you have Kath, Pushing the limits, on the Andrasta, and TWO Prox mines in the rack. Can you use both your actions to drop each mine in sequence? At first gut response was of course no, they are the same action. But then we looked at eachother and were simultaneous all like "...but they come from separate sources?" Sketch at best, but we were wondering if because they are each an action tied specifically to their own card, if they are still the 'same' action. We are assuming yes, but the way this Andrasta title card feels like it was intended was to allow this kind of thing. If you have a thought/source cited answer/opinion chime in.

FAQ, Page 17:

Q: Can a ship perform the same Upgrade card action or Damage card action more than once per round?
A: No. Having more than one copy of the same card that requires an action to trigger its ability does not allow you to perform that action more than once per round.

Also, it is in the rules somewhere (don't have them in front of me.... and not looking them up on my phone atm) that you can only drop 1 bomb per turn.

Plus the fact that it's trying to perform the same action more than once in a round. That rule doesn't just apply to Upgrade or Damage card actions, it applies to any actions.

Also, Push the Limit only lets you take an action from your action bar. Even without the other problems, Push wouldn't help you here. You'd need Experimental Interface.

So, to recap, 1,000 different ways of "No".

Cool, we had it right then. Did somehow mess up the PTL restriction. And when checking the FAQ totally glazed over the answer right in front of me. Derp. Oops. Still assuming you use EI, It kind of stinks that you can't. If for no other reason then 1 bomb per turn rule. Which having so rarely dealt with these things I had completely forgotten as well, despite being a completely obviously required restriction had I thought about it. Guess it would have paid to wait till this morning to look it up my dang self. Thanks.

I've started a thread here because people have been asking the same questions over, and over, and over. This is one of them. Probably the most popular. Please have a look.

In short: no.
1st: you get to drop one bomb every turn. No matter how you do it or what kind. One.

2nd: You can't perform the same action twice in a round. IN this case, that would be the Proxy mine action.

3rd: PtL only works with actions in your action bar.

No. Proximity Mines, Seismic Charges and Proton Bombs are all classed as "bombs" and as such you can only drop one "bomb" per turn.
