*(SPOILERS?)*

Anyone perturbed by the fact that that in season finale of Star Wars Rebels, they escape in a TIE fighter with five in the cockpit and none of them had life support systems?

Nope. Ties may not have life support, but a ball that big has a fair bit of air, and rebels are the kind of people who pack survival stuff into their equipment. Had it been another tie, or more than 30 minutes flight time, sure problem, but it was less than 10 minutes and the tie they clearly modified.

I was more wondering how it survived being ground 0 of a massive emp blast.

I sort of assume they have some way of bringing EMP'ed stuff back online that doesn't require total rewiring. It would be handy for ships that get close to stars.

I can just imagine a lead shielded box on every circuit board which is fed power to keep the tiny magnetic field on. EMP hits it and the field goes down releasing repair nannites. Repair finished, field comes up, nannies are drawn back to it like moths.
