Who says their characters are going to make it through Episode 7?

I honestly don't think they will be in much of 8 and I doubt anything after that. As much as I would love to see them as main characters in all of them, there's a new generation of characters and viewers that they are going to want to explore.

Ford actually asked George to kill Solo at one point

Sadly George said no. But in the worst part of unfulfilled foreshadowing the line " I just had a feeling. ..like im never going to see her again " remained. Basic screenwriting 101 dont foreshadow and not put out

As it turned out, he WAS flying a piece of junk!, Stay with us Mr. Ford, if only to spare us the irritation of hearing a million nerds suddenly crying out in terror and were suddenly silenced. ☼
