Had a classic game at my LGS game night this evening.
After taking a beating in my first 2 games I switched to a Kath and Diggy list for the final game to try to salvage a little pride.
It started about as badly as it could, in just 2 rounds of shooting, Kath had lost most of her shields, and in a spectacular display of blanking Diggy went down in just 3 shots!
Naturally the sledging and banter began, with my opponent taking particular pleasure in telling me how large Kaths backside looked as she tried to run for it - even offering to paint a Wide Load sign on the back of her Firespray
But you never say that sort of thing to a lady without expecting a slap in the face, and slap she did.
Over the next hour she slipped every attempted trap,dodged every shot and punished every slight error - eventually taking out all 3 black Zs Guri,and a Vigo singlehandedly.
Moral: Always talk nice to a lady.
