I'm looking at doing some minor mods to my Scum ships, mostly engine modifications, and I am thinking about adding some Armorcast cinematic effects. I'm thinking the pistol controlled burst will work for Scyks, and maybe the double barrel muzzle flash for StarVipers. For the Aggressor and Firesprays I may add some large muzzle flashes, but I will need to magnetize those so they fit in the foam case I already have. Shouldn't be too difficult.

For the StarViper, can someone please measure the distance between the centers of the thrusters? My S&V haul is still in the mail or I'd do it myself

Just measured it and it looks like they are around 5mm (7/32") apart. Also, they are very tiny.

I had a bad feeling they would be 5mm apart, since the double muzzle flash set has the two cones 4mm apart when measured center to center

Keep in mind that my measurements are limited to the rulers I have on hand.

At 4mm apart that would only result in a .5mm misalignment on each side, that is going to be barely noticeable even if you are looking for it. Plus, I don't know the exact thickness of the piece you were thinking of using, but the size of the exhaust would probably cover up the slight misalignment anyway.

The bigger issue I think is that the double barrel muzzle flash is 15mm long, whereas the pistol flash that I like for the Scyks is 8mm long. I don't want these things to stick out so far that they will inevitably be breaking off all the time

And for the sake of cost efficiency, a pack of 10 would do all 4 Scyks and 2 Star Vipers that I plan to put them on
