nechromus first painted mini - AT-ST

By nechromus, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

Hi

I have finished my first miniature for Imperial Assault. The minis are pretty good way above the usual boardgaming standard and that allows for some pretty cool results.

fantastic work, great photos too

awesome like the way the lights hit the armor plating, great work

I have a number of inbetween shots of me painting the guy. Would you be interested in a short Tutorial of how I painted it?

I have already painted mine, a bit more dirty and rusty :) But i like yours, and i Think many people would like a guide.

I'd be keen! I have confidence in my painting, but I would certainly have ended up with a more grey model overall.

I really enjoy the natural grey you've achieved, with the sort of brownish-tint. Looks really great.

Really awesome!

I'd be interested in a WIP stages tutorial and what colors you used.

I'm in love with the rusted look, great job!

Stunning work Sir! Absolutely exquisite shading - especially on that front panel :)

Thanks for all the encouraging replies. I will try to find time during the weekend to write a little how-to for the AT-ST.

The weathering and shading are astounding.

I normally don't like the overly weathered or battle scared look but on your work the effects are perfectly cinematic in quality.

I have posted a tutorial in a new topic in the forum
