I kickstarted the Robotech Tactics game a few years back, now I have the realization that I'll probably never get any of my local scene to pick it up. That, and the figures are horrible to assemble en-masse.
So, I now have a few VF veritechs I want to convert into star-fighters. I'm thinking X-wings should work fine for them, what do you guys think?

What to use Robotech Veritechs as?
Don't suppose your in NE ohio?
I haven't gotten around to assembling any of my figs yet, but I have been wanting to actually do a fan conversion and make RDF, Zentradi and maybe even malcontent factions that are compatible with x-wing.
Sorry, Northern Minnesota.
If I use them as X-wings, i'll use this set up.
Rick Hunter(Luke) Squad leader and R2-D2
Max Sterling(Wedge) Marksmanship and R5-K6
Ben Dixon(Biggs) R2-F2
Basically Rick will use squad leader to allow Ben to take a free action to increase his agility, and focus. Max will be Max and do the heavy lifting of the squad.
Go Vermilion Squad!
Just make sure to call all K-turns the "Focker Maneuver". Or was it the Focker Turn?
I concur with Ben as Biggs.
Yeah, it is really kind of funny how closely Rick, Max and Ben match up to Luke, Wedge and Biggs. I assume it has to do with basic character archetypes and such.
My problem is that Khyron in his officer pod should really count as a TIE Advanced, or maybe even a Defender, but I have a hard time not wanting to use him as a counts as Backstabber.
I see him more as Xizor for the damage splash.
Yeah. Xizor's ability would work well for Khyron.
