The E-Wing was one of the ships in Stay On Target. I doubt they would put it in this one.

Ahh... I see what happened. This thread is about the Strongholds book. Somehow I clicked an incorrect link and wound up on Stay on Target as I was responding to this thread, which, as I found out, indeed had stats for the E-Wing in it.

I keep harboring this secret hope that FFG cuts WEG a big fat check and reprints (well, basically rewrites and updates for the aughts) Strikeforce Shantipole. That game was seriously awesome and I'd love to see a modern spin on it.

If it's a repurposed Venator, and they provide a map/detailed pictures for it, I'm going to faint when the book is out. I mean, appart from Venator-class, there's only the Victory-class (and maybe the Acclamator-class, but it's explicitly a predecessor to the Star Destroyer line).

Well if you take the Guide to Warfare into consideration, Star Destroyer is simply a designation for a certain size of warship, not a specific line. Same as cruiser, battlecruiser, corvette, frigate etc.
