online game

By the46zone, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

Hi! I was wondering if anyone ever plays this game via an online site (google or an apple program)? This is something I would be interested in trying but not sure if it is even possible. Thanks in advance!

One of the more common ways of doing it (and in finding a group) is through Roll20. With Roll 20, you've got a way to show a general map of the area if you want, text chat. With Google Hangouts, you've got voice/video chat, an extension to roll dice and track destiny points that allows everyone to see the results, and you can use the Roll20 extension to combine everything from that into a nice single window.

Great to know! Thanks!

Has anyone formed a group through Skype?

I have a group through skype. its not as intuitive as roll20, but roll20 cant handle the maps i make. you can also share screen on skype so it's not bad.

Gametable does maps & pogs with data - so you can track wounds etc right on the pog. I doubt there is a FFG dice mod for the roller yet, but it has integrated chat with PM

Use google hang outs and you can use the dice app for the hang outs and share your screen.

I haven't tried it, but I would think downloading the stand alone app from http://game2.ca/eote/ would work really well for skype.

Edit: Not to mention that it has a link for using in Google+ Hangouts...

I play via Google Hangouts. You can share a Google Doc or Google Doodle for maps, notes, and such, and there is an EotE dice roller that lets you roll the dice right there in the Hangout.

Roll20 works for me ! Though I occasionally use skype for the voice comms. Ew.jpg
