I've had pretty good luck with this so far. Mini- swarm with Fel or whisper is rough, but manageable.

I've seen V.I Corran used as the counter-phantom to a mini-swarm of As and Zs

Not sure how effective it is, but it steam-rolled my store stress wing list after it had been chewing through turrets. You get a blocker to facilitate Corran's range 1 double-taps and bam, you have the most brutal round of shooting imaginable.
