Alright, I've gotta ask now... where did you get / how did you make the rank badge and the Imperial insignia? Those are just too awesome. Also did you put the patches on yourself just with sewing, or...? I'm a bit unfamiliar with (for lack of a better term -- I'm fashion illiterate) modyifing clothing. There's another tournament or two I'd like to attend over the next few months, and I'd love to show off my Imperial Allegiance for them.

I'm trying to figure out which Star Destroyer would be best for a patch, and it looks like 181 was incredibly mobile. I'd go so far as to say that they might wear a Corscunt patch, with the understanding that they are the Emperor's Own.

A bit late here, but I think Option B would looks cool if you added a red stripe down the sleeve and have the 181 centered on top of it.

I was originally going to have a red stripe added on the sleeve with the patch centered over it, but honestly taking it to a tailor to get a stripe sewn on isn't worth the time I don't think because the jacket isn't real leather. It's a cheap pleather thing, and frankly not worth the investment.

Paint it. Back in my punk days my motorcycle jacket had red, spike covered lapels and sleeve, all of it was done with acrylic paint. Both leather & pleather take acrylic paint very easily, and all you need to do is run some masking tape down as stencil. If you wear it all the time you'll get a little bit of cracking, but you can easily touch it up.

Is there something special about this ship? On the Wookiee, all I'm seeing is that it was an ISD-I, which according to the Adventure Journal was one of six names to be sliced and handed over to the Rebellion. Is it part of something you're writing, or do you just like the name?

Yes and no.

Most of our water is being used in the Central Valley and exported as food. The cities actually use less total water than they did 30 years ago, despite having more total people. Our urban and suburban citizens have drastically cut back on water use, without sacrificing quality of life. Unfortunately, Central Valley farmers want to use slave labor and free water, and throw a fit whenever they're asked to be smarter about their water usage. It's pretty ugly.

The drought itself is being caused by-or at least is intensified by- global climate change. That's something that CA has done a lot to fight against, but it's a fight we've been losing.

So yeah, there's things we can do, and some of the issue is on us. A lot of the problem is on the East Coast, where the assumption that ice caps melting on the poles, and turning into snowfall on New York somehow means the Earth is not getting warmer.

I get tired of coronation street references, but no I like the accent compliments. Since I like playing Elves in D20 and I am very Imperial I admit I tend to milk it.

Let's face it, the long curly hair & goatee help too. (Maybe i should switch to half elf...)
