i'm a pretty good painter, but my experience is limited to Tau, Orks, and fantasy stuff like Dragons.

Ive wanted to paint my TIEs for some time, but other than add highlights i never had any ideas because im just not used to painting things like that.

These are amazing, and give me a lot of ideas. Most of them are very simple concepts and do wonders to the ship. Though the decal stuff ive never been good at lol.

Yes i ve used metallic paint ( bolt gun citadel if i remember or the new one ) for the little tubes inside the disc.

Some quicke shade with nuln oil and agrax, a litttle high light with bolt gun and a liiiiitle last high light with a light grey
