That Defender looks vicious.
I was going to say the same thing. That is an evil-looking ship. I like it.

The Black Ocean is how I found this thread! Thanks!
Lots of great work, Sixwoods!
Hi all !
I apologizefor the late with my intention to do a vide tutorial ! I encounter some troubles with the camera ( it's not mine ! ), and my work don't let me enough time for the moment ( some clues are in the previous pages ^^ )
By the way i m working ont the wave 5 for the french regional in two weeks, i will post them soon
My little desert squad will be up for this great day !
I ve done the red canopee of one of my bombers. The deset schem is different than the one i do now. This bomber is my first xwing repaint if i remember
How in the WORLD did you do THAT
Here is the desercimator
First try with pigments, i will try to use a less intense one next time, but it's really easy and cool to use !!!
First try with those kind of damage too. Next time i will try to do more realistics ones like marcossvf1'ones <3
hop you like it
I love those windows
I really like that Decimator! It's quite unlike any other Decimator I've ever seen and that just makes it even better! Somehow the colours you've used should somewhat clash with each other and yet they don't and that's a sign of excellence from the painter.
I hope you liked your first experiment with dry pigments. They do take some getting used to and to be fair, can be somewhat hard to use on this scale as they are traditionally used on plastic World War II tanks and vehicles, which tend to be quite a lot bigger. Still, it's another useful tool, and can achieve effects that are hard, and perhaps even impossible, to create with acrylics.
Hello ! Thanks
For the desert color like the decimator i do like that :
Yellow glaze on all the mini ( without primer )
Then Agrax earthshade on all the mini.
Then dry brush with karak stone
And some highlight with ushtabi bone or karakstone + white .
Simple
Here my two other m3. As you can see, execpt for my tribal starviper, i try to paint all of my scums with a metal base
And a dusty and rusty hawk
Got a brand new reflex still thos week end !
I will be able to film a tutorial vidéo next week ( i m on holiday )
I will start with a simple t fighter or a ewing that i just finished to convert ( simple modification like the one i ve seen here last month )
Note that i m not a pro, i m painting for fun and with simple technics !
Hi Sixwood.
Congratulations for your works. I like your painting style and the original colour schemes (specially on headhunters).
Your "painting for fun" skills are very pro
. Well done!
Whoa! The transport color is great! How did you do the battle damage for the A-Wing?
Hello !
I know this is not a conversion or a repaint but here are some pictures i ve made for our store championship and regional champ
Those are not commercial advertising, i ve only made them for friends and for bringinig more people at our events ^^
Holy crap. Just recently tried painting again, but after looking at those ties . . . I mean . . . I kind of hate you . . . you know for making me feel totally inadequate.
Please keep it up.
(side note: long time lurker on the forums, first time posting. Nice to meet y'all.)
Hello all !
Some news from the outer atlantic fleet :
Got to find how to film corectly with good lights and i will make a tuto on a tie fighter. He will join my desert storm squad.
I hope to do it this summer, i know, i m a little "procrastinator" ...
Last paint :
(Whistle) Now tha's nice!
that looks amazing, love the yellow
While the modification is rather simple, it radically improves the look of the E-wing. Good job as always!
Another YT2400 with a really simple conversion.
I should have brought a poet.
But seriously very very nice I'm jealous I dream of doing the same but I can't even crayon between the lines.
That star though. Dang.
Your re-paints are looking as Fantastic as ever......and I like what you have done to the YT !
All the best,
Barry.
Darth Dash !
And Bwing !
