I know I already said this, but since I can't like it twice, I have to say - that TIE fighter is GORGEOUS. I'm in awe. Every time I look at it, another little detail catches my eye. And, as oneway said, the battle damage is incredible.

How did you do the battle damage? I've been thinking of junking up the wing of an advanced to look like the old battle damage vader tie toys, but wasn't sure how to get it to look right.

A little pencil and black and dark grey paint for the dammage near the 2 holes.

And for the little dark scratch i use an old pencil with black paint and just put some little random points.

I siad, all is simply !!! Just some patience and you can have a cool fleet

Some frenchy said me it was the Bat wing ^^

There are no canon on this one cause they were not present in the box at the opening ! I have to create some, certainly with watches parts.

i just realized that i have to put some gloss varnish on many of my canopees !

I absolutely adore that paint scheme. I can see what they mean about it being the bat-wing. I want to do something similar, with a black bat-wing inspired look on my Dunelizard. Hope it turns out half as well as your A-wing.

These are the best repaints I've ever seen, hands down. What paints do you use if you don't mind me asking? I've never repainted before and am planning on giving it a try sometime soon. I don't have an airbrush though...but am not against possibly investing in one.

All of my paint are from gamesworkshop, and pencil too but i m looking for another brand of pencils. Those of GW are good, nut that's all. They loose their form really quicly

My wife and some friends wants me to do some youtube video ^^ i will look to see how i can do that in good quality for the image and the voice

As for the pencils you are referring to, you just use regular pencils for marking details and then put a coat of varnish over the pencil details something? Sorry for my newbie questions, as I am still trying to familiarize myself with many of the techniques and the options I have with getting certain looks and details across.

I m not really happy with the paint and custom result. I should have put more little detail, but it's done, so i won't touch him again .

First time i try to do a "heavy" custom with plastic card and green stuff. It's tricky to do and i don't have the good tools to do correct things !

For a first 'heavy' conversion it sure looks good! I've been planning to do some very similar with my own E-wing but I just haven't had the time yet. Anyway, keep up the good work.

If you're not happy with that E-wing, and it really bugs you, I could send you an address to mail it to...you know, just to get it out of your mind...

Best custom E wing yet IMO.

Really like the window on the E wing and your Scarlet. Can you fill us in on how you do it? It doesn't look airbrush but its so good its hard to tell.
