I want to try to toss the evade from Jan back and forth. Keyan can fire and remove stress gain a focus from Kyle and change it to evade provided I stay in range 1 of chewie. OR chewie can evade and then push to focus and change it to evade for 2 evade tokens per turn. Nien Nunb is there to remove the stress from pushing and hopefully not get blocked too much with a 3 straight or 4 straight. Keyan will fire first so hopefully He can fire at whoever has the rebel captive that is a must for all imp players...

A-wing is there because I hate z95s, but I am not married to the idea. If i do take a z95 I could take a Hull upgrade on chewie or tactical jammer... I could also remove Nien Nunb from the falcon and move Kyle to the falcon. Then I would need to depend on the normal greens of the YT-1300 to remove the stress but the focus is free... So many options. Please help anyone. Thanks for looking.

You get it as soon as you declare the target, so absolutely.

I would probably think about dropping the A-wing to a Z-95 (what did the poor little guys ever do to earn your wrath? ) and give Keyan PtL. You really want a way for him to generate his own stress besides red maneuvers and hoping your opponent brought Rebel Captive. Other than that the list looks pretty solid.

If you are looking primarily to get focus and evade every turn you should run Rec Spec and Jan Ors as crew. With a single action you get focus/evade. If you still want PTL you can then get focus/evade/evade, focus evade TL, or just take the two tokens and switch your EPT to Predator. This is not bad as I feel Chewie struggles with putting out consistent damage without gunner.

Eh, I'd say at PS 5 you're fine with it.

BTW, Jan Ors Crew is effective out to range 3 (not range 1 as you seem to imply) which is a significant area of effect.

Also as Jan can be used on the ship she is on, the MF Title is slightly redundant (unless of course you really need evades for chewy AND Keyan the same turn) not sure what that 1 point could be spent on though, Tactical jammer?

I've found that the following Chewie build is incredibly frustrating to destroy.

- Predator

- Millennium Falcon

- C-3PO

- Lando Calrissian

- Experimental Interface

Use evade for your action and Experimental Interface sets off Lando. If you roll hot on the defense dice with Lando, you can get up to three evade tokens, plus 3PO and Chewie's ability to ignore critical hits make this build very frustrating to try to take out end game. This build is susceptible to swarms and getting bumped to deny it actions. In the current two ship Meta, it is almost impossible to take out. Fun to play, not fun to play against.

Awesome! All good points. Jan and recon spec with title is a little better than Lando to me because you remove the chance factor even though the gamble part is perfect for the character and fluff. But jan+rec spec+title is 2 evades 1 focus when ever it goes off. And that second evade can go to anyone in range. B-wings with 1 evade sound cool. They are already loaded with shields. I am worried about blocking and the focus can help with shooting too where Chewie can lack.

The large base is what makes it tough. You're far more susceptible to blockers since yours movement in asteroids gets even more limited.

I tend to run chewy with predator mf title and 3po to maximize his effectiveness.

PTL+Jan Ors+Kyle Katarn is a great way to get Evade/Evade/Action with Chewie if you're not going to run C-3PO, and one of those free Evade tokens is guaranteed even if you get blocked or are getting stressed.

One of my current lists is Chewie - PTL, Kyle Katarn, Jan Ors, MF title, Engine, 3x Prototype Pilots.

I played a test run yesterday and I did not like it. I mostly blame myself and not playing against many swarm lists. I was blocked. And when I pushed it was hard to get rid of that stress. I think if your going to stress yourself with the YT1300 you really need that boost as one of the two actions. I tried the same build with Han just for fun and it was a little better. More damage. Same evade. When your stress its to easy to predict your next move to a good blocker with swarm lists. For the record it was 7 ties with howlrunner.
