So, long story short, when I went to a local store to pick up Rebel Aces, I found out that I seemed to have mistaken Imperial Aces for the rebel version. I was trying to finish up my Rebel list, though, and I spotted something that might do just that, and would be a pain to find later on... the Millennium Falcon. So, naturally, I decided to make a list using both my Correlian freighters. Now, Han and Dash are a bit too expensive to run together, but Chewie and Leebo are both durable pilots who also have matching Pilot Skill so I can choose which of them goes first. The list performed reasonably in the test game I tried, but I'm not terribly happy with the Mercenary Copilot.

My opponent was one of those people with a few of everything, and he was kind enough to give me a few cards he had more copies of than needed. One of those cards was a recon specialist. The synergy of that with Gunner gave me an idea for another take on the list.

So, what do you guys think? I'm a bit concerned about Leebo being too easy to focus down, but I don't have anything I can think of to bolster that. Perhaps if I find a copy of Rebel Aces, Jan Ors might work?

I would put recon specialist on leebo, he's got more green and more red dice, so there will be more eyeballs to switch!

Hmm... While I'd need to pick up a scyk in addition to Rebel Aces, downgrading to the mangler cannon frees up enough points that another option opens up.

100/100 points, and I've got two damage mitigation a turn, one of which can be given to whichever ship I feel needs it more. Both ships also have a pretty strong action economy, although I really dislike losing the HLC, although I suppose since secondary weapons don't get bonus attack dice at range 1, I should still be barrel rolling as if the donut hole was still there, so PTL still makes sense.

Flew this list for the past month or so. Won a local tournament and placed 2nd in store championship out of 20 people. It can be a pain to take down.

A guy flying a Chewbacca/Leebo list is reigning terror on the Dutch competitive scene, this is his list;

Chewie, pred, 3po, title.

Leebo, lone wolf, rec spec, hlc, title.

Might face him again tomorrow in a SC, but I'm still not sure what to fly to counter him.

I will say this about the decision to put a Mangler on your Outrider. It will make hitting ships with autothrusters a nightmare.

The sidekick build I want to try is:

Chewbo is definitely a thing.

Tough ships and consistent damage. The ships are quite durable with their natural abilities, the extra focus on Leebo and C3PO for Chewie just top it off. Focus for your action and let predator do the work.

I'm keen to try the Mangler so I can fund more options on Chewie, But I share SirPickles concerns about the ability to get through a stealth + autothruster interceptor with only 3 dice. I think the brute force of the HLC is a necessity in this list.
