Is it possible to hit the same asteroid twice? In case my next manouver still overlaps the asteroid. Do I have to roll the second time for the hit?

Yes - if your maneuver template overlaps the obstacle when you move off it, you roll a second time and lose your action.

When you start you turn you may effectively ignore the rock directly under your ship when you begin your maneuver but anything else is still asteroid and of course it is all rock once your maneuver is complete.

Now when I first read the title I was thinking about someone who manages to hit TWO asteroids in a single turn. In that case you only need to roll ONCE for damage despite connecting with two rocks.
