Just curious- do you think we'll ever see a ship with more than one Illicit Upgrade slot? Are there any that would lead to obviously broken interactions (like the crew-astromech options that prevent us from getting a copilot slot on the Y-Wing)? I'd think it through by myself but I just ate lunch and am feeling rather drowsy.

Dead Man's Switch plus Feedback Array would be the only slightly problematic combo I'm aware of, but that would be pretty expensive for a doomed ship (not more than a Gunner Doomshuttle though, obviously).

R5-D8 and C-3PO would guarantee discarding one damage card per turn.
Recon spec would make R5-P9 (spend focus to recover shield) more attractive.
Nien Numb and R2-D2 is probably the most broken combo.
I wish they had updated the Slave 1 title card to say: Boba Fett Only: Add one Ilicit (or sensor) icon to your upgrade bar.

I don't really think that any of those are particularly broken, they'd just lead to Y-Wings being a bit tankier. Using R5-D8 and C-3PO costs an action and keeps you from using C-3PO on your Defense roll. The other two just make shield recovery more consistent.
Did not mean to imply they were broken but I was just entertained by the idea of looking for synergies. R2-D2 and Nien numb would be pretty brutal in the end game. Those three are the only possible combos I can come up with.

Yes please. The only one of those that looks all that good is the Dutch one, and that doesn't have anything to do with an Astro+Crew combo.
None of these combos seem broken and let's remember they are on a y wing which is a big weakness.
The Dutch one sounds good but hardly broken
The bomb loadout one looks like it might take sub-par effects (bombs) and make them worth taking, so actual plus to the game

Yep, yet to see one that is actually broken. Most of them are just "interesting".
Just to pick on one in particular, Nien Nunb plus R2-D2? So all your greens are straight and only straight, how exactly does this equal a broken combo.
For reference none of these are more broken than say, PtL R2 astro on an E-wing, or Tactician plus Ion Cannon on a B-wing or C-3PO on a B-wing, or FCS/Weapons Engineer on a B-wing. Or any of the double EPT combos an A-wing could do.
Heck being able to regen shields efficiently on a Y-wing using R5-P9 and Recon or Nien Nunb and R2-D2 would make tanking a bit more viable. Having played with R7-Y-wings, I would love to add Weapons Engineer to it and it is hardly broken (not even close).
Weapons Engineer on Dutch is probably the best of the lot, and since no one actually uses him, it might be a blessing in disguise.
I don't see why we couldn't have double Illicit.
The Y-wing's unlikely to get crew because 1: copying the B-wing and 2: BTL-A4 being a title defines the base Y-wing as a BTL-S3: the crew is the gunner. That's not to say never, but it strikes me as unlikely.

BTL Title + Gunner. You attack at range 1, roll 3 hits. Title kicks in, you attack with Ion Turret - you miss. Gunner kicks in, you get a second primary attack. BTL Title kicks in again, and you get a 2nd ion shot. Possible 7 damage that way. could be more if you change up turrets and roll perfectly.

It's not so much that there would be broken combos (although I'm sure there might be a few), it's more the overlap this would cause between the wishbone and the HWK - consigning the HWK to the scrapheap for good.
That said I'd love to see a BTL-S3 title (the 2 seater version) that included Y-Wing only crew with abilities specifically geared to what Y-Wing crew do for a living - pick targets and shoot at them.
As long as they were costed appropriately and avoided too much overlap with the bots in the slot I can see them working well.

Not quite - Gunner is restricted to primary weapon attacks only and once it's activated you cannot perform another attack
