I've been having good success, and an awful lot of fun, with a couple lists that aren't seen too often.

First list

3x academy

3x Saber

Works surprisingly well. Flown against super dash and 3 awings, against chewy, 2 bandits and an a-wing, 4 x-wings, and won all of them. I like how flexible it is. either run in int/tie sets, or send the tie screen together, and bring the ints around. depends on the opponent.

I changed it a little last week, and came out with

5x academy

alpha

saber.

Also worked extremely well.

I joined this game in the wave 3 meta, and i don't know if I can change. I can't take 2 ship lists seriously.

Almost any list is viable if you are good with it. And your luck holds out!

I like non-meta lists. Or, lists that are meant to smash the current meta.

I like both list too. I tried the first one as well and some variations with one named pilot and one Alpha and and one Avenger squaron pilot. The 3 Academies and 3 Sabres work very well
