Last year, we had Wave 4 and 5. If this year follows suit, then Wave 7 may not come until Q4 2015.

Seems most players are still absorbing Wave 6. We may not see a Wave 7 preview until May or June.

It's a good thing I like the cold...

I actually enjoy the previews of new waves. It just bugs me when I finally get new product in hand and all that is all over the message boards is what we will be getting next instead of what we just got. All I ask is wait a week for the new to wear off before we start seeing what we have coming out months from now. Rebel aces and wave 5 were spoiled so far in advance that I feel like I got nothing new when I opened them. Don't spoil every single item in the pack and start the new spoilers after each wave goes out.

I was going to respond to this, but you beat me. There is absolutely no effing way to avoid spoilers without literally staying off of the forum (and the Internet), not go to FLGS's, not play with my friends, etc., etc., etc.

There is absolutely no way the user "All Shields Forward" can be a regular user of this forum if he/she actually believes that every thread having anything to do with the new wave starts with "SPOILER ALERT" (or whatever).

Basically, I would have to put my head in the sand for 6 months ... and even then some kid may be playing on the beach with some proxy for the new ship, muttering about his latest battle on Vassal, and how the new EPT and Cannon that comes with it are way OP.

1) There will be a wave 7

2) There will be rebel and/or imperial and/or scum ships included

3) A reasonably accurate delivery date (ignoring any more potential port issues)

4) That's it

Until the day it is released, and available, I do not want:

1) The specific ships spoiled

2) All of the pilots spoiled

3) All of the cards spoiled

4) All of the new mechanics spolied

5) All of the missions spoiled

6) 42 articles by FFG, various past champions, etc. spoiling thought processes of their use

7) Spoilers, spoilers, spoilers

I want to open my new toys as if it is XMas once again, without a complete knowledge set of what is contained within.

I think the frostbite has gotten to Joe Boss' brain (I say with love). He's in agreement with absolutely nothing that any2cards has said. It's the exact opposite. Any2cards wants no spoilers; Joe wants spoilers NAO!

I wouldn't mind if they spoiled more about the raider though. Don't really care to know about wave 7 yet, but some of the raider and advanced upgrades would be good.

For me, I wasn't born yet when the original trilogy finished its run, but I grew up with the films, and I especially grew up with the X-wing and TIE fighter video games. I'm a crazy flight simulator geek/military aviation fanatic, and I was so hooked on those games it wasn't even funny. Then, right about the time I hit middle school, Stackpole's X-wing books started coming out, and I devoured those while playing similar missions in the games. It was a fun time to be into that kind of thing. So, while I loved playing the Rebels, and then TIE fighter made me love playing the Imperials even more, I was always attracted to the Z-95 Headhunters and the scummy side of space. And then a whole series of space combat sims, including X-wing alliance, hooked me even harder on the notion of running my own space pirate gang. Then, enter stuff like Dark Forces, Star Wars galaxies, etc, and the seedy underbelly of the Star Wars world became super appealing. So, I love the Scum miniatures, and think they may be my preferred faction.

My favorites scale works out like this: Scum: 40, Rebel: 30, Empire: 30, which equals 100% STAR WARS awesomeness!
