I like running the Panic Attack build and with the new Ywing title out, I'm wondering if its possible to double stress a ship with a GSP with Ion Turret, R3-A2 (Stressbot) and Ywing Title. Only issue would be that I would be receiving 2 stresses if I gave 2 stresses. I tried searching on the Y wing title so I didn't see if this had already been addressed.

There is no limitation on the stress droid, and it's not an action to use it so yeah, you can double stress someone. Now, getting rid of the two stress you caused yourself on a Ywing while trying to keep your arc pointed at anything useful.... That's another story.

Also, in follow up, since the turret attack is a completely separate attack, and can be on a different ship (as long as both are in your arc) the "declare target" trigger does happen twice.

You can recieve stress if you already have it unless the effect specifies it doesn't work if you are stressed (See Tycho). So Stressbot BTL-A4 works. Of course, you end up with 2 stress, so you're not going to be performing actions or taking k-turns any time soon.

Still, for 25 points, it's a nice control ship that can act as a distraction for a bigger threat.

Yes, if you get it in arc at Range 1 - 2 and can deal with two stress tokens yourself.

Actually, the damage drop is very minor. The mechanics of taking two shots with the first only rolling 2 dice and the second rolling 3 dice with a damage cap makes the presence of an offensive action far less important than a single 3 or 4 dice full damage attack.

you can continue to point at them doing one straight.... as long as you were perfectly lined up behind them... if you were pointed at their side, or face to face at all, then no... you cant stay pointed at them doing greens which are only straights on a y wing. as long as you don't need actions you are fine. the one time your dice don't come up for you, they are gone, and you are trying to turn around about as well as a shuttle....

Having your Y-Wing lose it's actions would be well worth double stressing a Fat Han or Dash or Soontir. Too bad you can't bring multiple R3-A2s for better coverage.

Considering you're likely ionizing a double-stressed ship, it's not really that hard. They're doing a white 1-straight, you can just continue to point at them.

Primary attack - they don't spend tokens on defense because they're afraid of getting ionized. Boom, get a free damage.

Ion shot - Drat, still got a damage through.

2 total damage > 1 damage from only the ion cannon. And they're double-stressed, and ionized. And then next turn they don't even have tokens to not spend, except for Soontir (not that you would have ever gotten the first shot on him) or Tycho (who?).

I'd even argue that it's better to do double stress than just 1, because if you don't also ionize them, they're just running away with a green maneuver, while you're stuck with your silly slow greens and not getting another shot anyway.

It seems like 1.5 damage a round, agi 3 ships obviously better than 0-2 agi. Not a lot of damage, consistent sure but low.

I can attest to this, when I ran my ywings at the A2Z store champs I never really felt like losing the action on my ion equipped ywings dropped their chance to hit with at least one of their attacks that much.
