YEESS!! Tacoma AND Vancouver.
I hated driving 8 hours one-way last year to get to the closest Regional tournament AND not getting to compete with my friends who couldn't make the trip.

I'm surprised they put 2 that close together.

The event in Tacoma is atypical in a good way. It will take place over two days and be in the convention center along with other FFG regionals. I was super happy to be able to host a regional in Spokane last year, and even though it won't be in Spokane this year, I think the venue choices were well done and I am excited to be part of the event in Tacoma. It will be on a whole new level for the west coast players.

technically there are 3 close together. We have one up in Vancouver BC as well. putting 3 all within approx 4 hours from Vancouver BC to Vancouver WA
i feel like we got a bit of overkill to make up for the closest one being Spokane WA last year

I didn't realize there was one in Vancouver BC. That does seem kind of nuts. I wonder how many people are going to go to all three.
Region 1 is kind of weird population wise. I kind of wish they would add Utah to it so northern Utah wouldn't have to compete with California.
