Great if you have a CR90 as its speed 4 can really help, although it is kinda fragile. I think an AF-2 is probably one of the best bets, speed 3 and good shields + hull, make it fast enough and durable enough to pull it off.
Don't forget the Gladiator--it is reasonably fast, has better turning than the Mark II, and it has solid hull+shields. Even better, the Gladiator wants to be in the middle of the board causing trouble anyways. This objective is probably a reasonable choice if you are running Glad-2 Vic or 2 Glad-Vic.
Since i dont support the whole "a separate thread for each obj" thing i post this here.
I noticed that some objective cards have a number in the lower right corner. Is this a point cost? I saw a few that were 15 points, if they are points that is. I think id rather use ones that dont cost points and add an extra fighter or two. I havent made a list of which ones cost points, but is it worth it if you may not be the one to pick which obj. To use?
That number is how many points you get per victory token won, it is explained in the main FFG article.
Ah, that makes much better sense

You could probably just read the article to find that information out. But to save you the time, a number of the cards have multiple objective tokens and each token is worth 15 victory points at the end of game.
I did read the article thank you very much, but i must have missed that part.

I think you are correct. CR90 is too easily destroyed, although you could prob nab a couple of objectives before getting blown up. AF2 does seem like the best ship for the job.
