Has there been an official FFG ruling on this one? Had a game last night where Oicunn started stressed, bumped my B-Wing after a green maneuver to clear the stress, and went to use Dauntless to take a Focus. I tried to argue that he couldn't, citing the previous ruling on Night Beast, but the judge ruled that the action was triggered by the bump and took place after the "Check For Stress" step. Fortunately it didn't matter on that attack, but was I reading it correctly?

I don't think it should work that way.
Using Dauntless would be an interrupt so it would be inserted in the Execute Maneuver step, or at least before the Check Stress step, so he would of still had stress when he tried to perform a free action.
From the FAQ for "Night Beast"
If “Night Beast” is stressed before he executes a green maneuver, he cannot perform a free focus action since the free action is granted before the stress is removed during the “Check Pilot Stress” step.
The same should apply to Dauntless.
Edited by VanorDMYeah, it sounds like the TO got that wrong, but to be fair that is a VERY easy interaction to get wrong. You almost have to execute the entire sequence one step at a time with the rulebook open in front of you to understand what happens there the first time.
