Hi Everyone,

I'm still trying to get the hang of playing this and I have a question about PTL. It says I'm able to do a free action in my action bar and receive a stress token. OK, so if I do my first action as a boost, am I allowed to do a PTL boost as well since it's in my action bar and it's free. I've been looking at the rules and can't see where I can't do that. I was in a game last night and tried it and the person told me I couldn't do another boost for my PTL.

a ship cannot perform the same action more than once during a single game round (not even when the action is a “free action”).

It's a fairly common mistake people make. They seem to think that since it's a free action then the normal rules don't apply.

I'd bet you 1 out of 3 or 4 people starting to play X-Wing make that mistake.

In this case a free action simply is one that does not count as your one action in the activation phase. Other then that all normal rules apply.
