Fighter Cards

By dpb1298, in Star Wars: Armada

Do we know yet if there are two Tie Interceptor/ Y-wing/ Tie-Bomber etc in the fighter packs? Or is it just one Interceptor with Fel etc. It really sucks if the later is what is included.

From the pictures its 2 of each type.

Edit: Wait, I am not sure now looking at the picture but the way fighters work now you only need one card since damage and activation is tracked on the mini's base.

The Imperial Fighter Squadrons Expansion Pack for Star Wars: Armada introduces an array of eight starfighter squadrons, evenly split between four different types of fighters. By adding these TIE advanced, TIE interceptor, TIE bomber, and TIE fighter squadrons to your fleet, you’ll be able to swarm your foes, protect your capital ships, and send the Rebellion’s hopes down in flames.

You only need one card for all the squadrons.

You only need one card for all the squadrons.

Correct. Contrary to X-Wing the squadron damage isn't tracked with damage cards but on the squadron base card "directly" via its dial/indicator

Awesome. Must have missed that part.

Had the same concern myself a while ago, I'm glad the system for dealing with this is much smoother. Can you imagine needing a card AND indicator for each fighter squad in an epic game? Even standard allows for 12 separate Tie Fighters...

Apparently they have cardboard bases like x-wing with a hero on one side and generic on the other. So if you did get multiple packs you can only run one as the hero, but the rest as generics
