I participated in my first tournament yesterday, 2/28 (Store Championship, Game Night Games, Salt Lake City, UT).
I took the following list:
Ten Numb
-Adrenaline Rush
-Fire Control System
-Ion Cannon
-Proton Torpedoes
-B-Wing/E2
-Mercenary Copilot
Chewbacca
-Push the Limit
-Millennium Falcon
-Engine Upgrade
-C-3P0
-Kyle Katarn
There were 24 players, and I went 3-2, losing my first and last games. I took a modified win on the second, barely, against the only female player there: she had already killed my Ten Numb (44 pts), but I killed both of her two Saber Squadron Pilots with Push the Limit (24 x 2 = 48 pts). My other two wins were 100-0 shutouts, wiping out a 3 Phantom mini-swarm and Boba Fett with 2 Heavy Mangler Scyks.
I lost first to Kath Scarlet, Palob-the-HWK, and 2 Binayre Pirates, having killed Palob and a pirate, but with my B-Wing dying to a 5-dice aux arc attack from Kath. The game went to time, and my opponent had taken more points than I had.
My final game was against Dash with an Autoblaster, Navigator, and Veteran Instincts, Airen Cracken with Cluster Missiles, Munitions Failsafe, and Veteran Instincts, and 2 Bandit Squadron Pilots. I was only able to kill one Bandit. I should have stayed well away from Dash and his short-range death zone, but I didn't.
I enjoyed my experience immensely, and ended up taking 12th place. I will definitely be back for another tournament when I can.
I have concluded that Mercenary Copilot is not really worth the trouble... I managed to use him only once. However, Adrenaline Rush was absolutely a blast, letting me maneuver my B-Wing in very interesting ways. I also really liked PTL+Kyle, which was basically like getting 3 actions. I forgot to use 3P0 fairly often, and also had trouble with forgetting Fire Control System a bit, too. Considering my inexperience, though, I feel like I did fairly well.
