First Rebel List

By Droidlover, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Being an Imperial lover, I never had many rebel ships. So here is my first rebel list.

99pts.

Etahn A'baht Ewing

R2-F2

Push the Limit

Fire Control System

Stealth Device

"Leebo" 2400

Determination

Mangler Cannon

Outrider

Bandit Squadron Z95

FCS gives Etahn rerolls, and R2-F2 paired with stealth device boosts his defense. PTL gives him an action other than R2F2's agility.

Determination paired with Leebo's ability reduces critical damage.Mangler turret eliminates donut hole and can take advantage of Atahn's ability for focus fire.

Let me know what pros and cons I would be looking at with this. Thanks.

Ok, so it's either a perfect build? :P or it's so bad, it's not worth responding to. :(

this might come as a huge shock, but I don't like R2-F2 + stealth device...

You can build E'athn in many different ways, but my favorite have been PTL + Advanced Sensors + R2 (astromech or D2)

You can abuse the double actions so much with very minimal drawback.

The PTL + Sensors + R2-D2 would open up a point over the current iteration, which is enough for intelligence agent on Leebo.

Intelligence agent gives your barrel-rolling E and YT license to be absolute assholes and block the **** out of your opponent. But what if Leebo's large base ends up blocking E'athn? Well....who cares? You got sensors  !

The bandit sticks out as a superfluous addition. I think it might be worth playing the R2 astromech E'athn variant to get a proto-type in there, instead. I have to say, the lone Proto-type is a world apart from the lone bandit in terms of how useful it can be (at the very least, it can boost to take advantage of your intelligence agent)
